The National Council for Research in Education (NCRE) is proud to hold an Institutional Membership with the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

ICDE is a globally recognized organization dedicated to promoting greater access to education through open, distance, flexible, and online learning, including e-learning. It serves as a membership body for institutions, educational authorities, commercial stakeholders, and individuals working towards innovative educational models and inclusive learning opportunities.

ICDE holds the prestigious status of Consultative Partner with UNESCO and receives support from the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. It is also an affiliate member of the South East Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO). The Council actively contributes to the global discourse on educational transformation, quality assurance, and the development of new methodologies and technologies in learning.
